This rod is handy. It carries under the barrel w a built-in conical loading/cleaning jag under the palmsaver. It also has a 4" brass extension w another cleaning jag, so it makes a good range rod.
I was struggling to get FPBs down the muzzle of my CVA Optima before I got this rod. With it I was able to push the FPBs from breech to muzzle, that "sized" them. Then to start the bullets down the muzzle, I used just the palmsaver as a short starter. Palmsaver is stout plastic, jags are brass, rod feels like heavy aluminum. Palmsaver is notched to secure rod under muzzle.
