Badlands Gone Bad II

The Badlands warranty department phone system asks callers to "Dial One to speak to a real, live human." I have pushed that button at least a dozen times over a period of two months and have yet to contact an individual responsive enough to answer the phone. My online warranty claim (requesting a replacement buckle) has gone unanswered. If these guys can't pick up the phone, return voice message, or mail out a simple belt buckle, then why on Earth are they so proud of their warranty service? This exact same thing happened to me two years ago. Interestingly, I got no response until I posted my experience on MM. Here's hoping it will work twice.

It's a bit frateating and disappointing as I have touted their stellar service and warranty to SO many! Not to mention I own an embarrassing amount of their packs. I hope they realize that it has been their service and warranty that has gained them so many loyal followers and customers over the years. I wonder if the new ownership has changed things up a little. My own experiences with them lately lead me to believe so......

Anyway, hope they can keep it together, or people will move on. There are some VERY impressive packs on the market right now.
 
Back when the 2200 came out to market Badlands had great customer service...then they expanded went down hill finally selling the company....customer service, quality of product all going in the toilet IMO...dont answer phones, emails...I wont purchase anything fron Badlands anymore...

I agree some nice packs out there right now....I am just afraid if down the road pack has stiching or broken clip issue not going to get it repaired by Badlands .....

buy a sportsmans, stone glacier, kifaru, mystery ranch.

Badlands are junk plain and simple. Had a couple 2200's and a 4500. Junk packs.
 
Story....good company gone bad....original 2200's awesome I still have one....BUT its not the same company as in first few years.....with sucess...management lost there way, sold the company to even worse management......end of story...

They sent me a brand new harness out in a couple of weeks. I also have a 2200 pack, about 5 years old and love it. Didn't know the new ones are junk. I've always liked Badlands, I hope everyone isn't having these same issues.
