I have not seen any newer reviews on the fierce fury's and read many hit or miss reviews before I purchased one so I thought I'd add my experience with a recent purchase. I originally was looking for a browning hells canyon speed. When I went to S.W. The browning did not shoulder very well and the fierce fury was suggested. It felt natural probably because I've been hunting with a Sako 85 for the last couple of years. After a month of buy don't buy confusion I bought it. Once broken in (shoot, clean, shoot, clean for 20 times) the worst 3 shot group it has shot has been .70" outside to outside. Considering I don't shoot that well, my brother was shooting on the bench to the left of me with an AR bouncing shells off me when he shot and my 12 year old was on my right and I was trying to keep my eye on him I was very impressed. So far both factory hornaday loads and the Barnes vortex long range loads have been under the 1/2" guarantee. The Barnes load was under 1/2" at 200 yards. Fit and finish is Sako+ and that is strong praise. It shoots really soft with or without the muzzle brake. My 9 year old didn't mind it at all and the 12 year old thinks he is going to take it over. Haha not going to happen. It is a blast to shoot

I have had two, both in 6.5X284.
The one with the 24" barrel shot Nosler factory shells .5 MOA ( I sold it because I thought it had the 26" barrel when I bought it.)
The one with the 26" barrel shoots the Noslers at 2MOA, but with a little work with the hand loads it is now sub .5 MOA.
Amazing how two inches of barrel changes things.
