Crispi Boots

I recently bought a pair of Crispi Dakota GTX boots for $330 and safe to say they are the worst boots I've ever purchased. They fit amazing at first as I wore them around the house for a few days before taking them in the mountains. I rolled both ankles and ended up with more blisters than I care to count. Take it for what it's worth but I spend at least 100 days a year hiking the mountains and of all the boots I've bought these are by far the worst. I brought it up to the customer service and was told well you wore them so there's nothing we can do.

I have the WY GTX and the Hunter GTX. The WY GTX are awful boots even with top of the line insoles they suck. On the other hand my Hunter GTX are the best boots I have ever worn, and I have tried pretty much all upper end boots. Im surprised about the customer service, I think the USA side has a new owner.

Interesting the variability between boots, I was reading a post on rokslide about the WY GTX which basically said they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Good to know about the Hunter GTX.

I bought the WY GTX because of what other people said and I can't wear them. My second favorite are the Zamberlan 980 outfitter. Lightweight boot Salomon 4d GTX is the best all round boot I have ever worn, I wear them at work year round, have another pair for hunting, when the work boots die I use my hunting boots for work and buy new ones for hunting.

I just bought a pair of Nevada's and used them on an elk hunt just this week. We were walking 10-15 miles a day. They are hands down the best boot I have ever used. No blisters, no sore feet, my feet felt fantastic.

Well they def. weren't a mistake, used them on my elk hunt this year and I have to agree, best boots I've ever owned. Probably get the Nevada's for upland bird hunting.
