"Kudo's to Burris Optics"

I have a pair of Burris Signature Series 10x42 bino's that I bought 12 - 14 years ago. They were nice bino's until the right side fogged up. Always meant to send them into Burris as they were supposed to have a life time warranty. Got around to doing that back in December. Burris calls up and sez a part needed to repair them is no longer made and we'd like to send you a brand new pair of Signature 10x42's. I sez, I'll be damned. At any rate, gotta appreciate a company like that...

Thats good real good to hear , and I'm glad they will stand behind their product and do the right thing . I have never had any Burris optics , but hearing stories like that will be in my mind when I'm looking for new rifle scopes .

I sent in a 10 year old original fullfield that has MADE IN THE USA stamped in the side of it to fix the rubber eyepiece ring that had torn off. I included a letter to let me know what the repair cost would be.

They replaced the rubber eyepiece, polished the lenses and recharged the gas all FREE OF CHARGE. It was like new when they sent it back to me. Outstanding!!!

I plan to order a new Burris Six X this month because of that.

I have a Burris spotter, that I think is quite nice. It's good to know they will stand by it.

I own pretty much every scope ever made and Burris is the best. I put a Leupold mark 4 8.5-25 on my hunting rifle which I removed after one season due to the open turrets. I put a Burris XTR 4.5-16 tactical scope on and my groups improved by 1/2 inch. There is about a $500 price difference.

hell, maybe I'll tell a recent elk hunter to send that piece of crap in!

dude showed up with a decently dialed in Fullfield 3-9x40 with the graduated 'b&c' type reticle on a model 70 in 06

we shoot the rig to make sure everything has survived the trip. he starts just fine, but on the 3rd or 4th shot that damned thing dropped about 18" low and about 9 right...he shot again, and then again. i shot a round or two...thing was all over the place

that crappy optic had internally exploded right before our eyes!

he killed his elk with my back up ruger 77 in 7 mag with the ever straight shootin zeiss conquest on it...and that scope has pretty much been run over, dropped, kicked and otherwise mishandled for oh, close to 9 or 10 years now...

but i'll tell ol boy about this nice warranty ...maybe he can get a new one and sell it for a dime or two to help recomp the cost of that conquest he ordered

thanks for the update, i'll have him try 'er out!
