Big agnes tent or Jungle Hammock?

Wanting to know if you were going to spend 3-5 days in the high country which would you prefer and why? Thanks

BA tent. On many of my high country hunts I have camped above treeline, thus making the hammock tough to use.

I like to spend a little time each night on my sides and belly, so I have to have a tent. No real extra room for cooking, etc. with the hammocks either. Tent.

I agree with these guys for the same reasons. I also, for some reason freeze in the hammock. I for sure prefer a tent...there are some guys that swear by hammocks.

I would go with the tent as well. I bought a hammock last year and took it out 4 times. I never got a good night's sleep and i usually had cold spots on my back and butt. If you do decide to go with a hammock, use it several times to make sure you know what you are getting yourself into.

Yep you need tree's and it has to be warm. Hammocks can get cold.

If there is any proof of a man in a hunt it is not whether he killed a deer or elk but how he hunted it.
