Story:

I admit that I love having great products that not everyone else has or knows about, so I'm going to do everyone a BIG favor and let this cat out of the bag. One of the sponsors of Solo Hunters TV is Predator Max Quick Action Gun Covers. If I hadn't seen this product on that TV show, I would not know that it existed. As an avid predator hunter I was intrigued with the product and saw a great potential for protecting my valuable rifles in the field. The price was such a bargain that I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did.

Not only does this gun cover work great packing in the field and protecting from the weather, but it is such a wonderful way to haul your guns in the truck (or some lesser vehicle) with protection and without having to stuff them in and out of rifle cases. You simply grab and throw your existing gun sling over your shoulder all the while adding a good level of protection from the elements and unwanted marks, scratches, and scuffs. It is also a great way to have some added protection when carrying your rifle in or on a backpack and is as quick to remove as the standard scope covers that most of us already use.

In summary, this is a wonderful well thought out product that I use constantly and need several more of. The only thing that I was disappointed about with this product is... why didn't I think of that.

What they could do better:

I only have one rifle that is too long to fit in this case and it is a Sako TRG42 with muzzle break. Just my luck, the web page says they are working on a longer model so I don't have a single improvement suggestion.

Thanks for the posts. My hunting buddies and I have talked about something like this. Of course that's all it takes for someone to get one out there. Ordered me one last night and it's on its way.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-07-11 AT 06:34PM (MST)[p]My gun cover just came in the mail today! It's everything I was hoping for. It weighs very little, but it is made from really durable material. I have a Christensen Arm's barrel so I was a little concerned that it might be too tight, but it fits perfectly. My rifle is 26 inches long. The cover stretches out well and covers the whole gun, but it quickly flips/slides off for quick access. Do yourself a favor and check this item out. No more worrying about dust, mud, rain or snow. And you can still carry your gun around like its not even covered.
