Has anyone ever had or seen any of these Crispi boots made in Italy. Never heard of them but saw an ad in Eastman's new magazine so looked at there website. Looks like good products just not sure how they compare to our high end boots like Kennetrek, Miendel etc. They are having a 25% off sale on the website on most boots and Eastmans have a 25% off code that gives you a total of 50% off so the prices are great if the quality matches.I am tired of wearing out a pair of Pronghorns every year so I intend to buy a good pair of boots, what do you think?? nwhunter

Couldnt find much on these boots but they look like well made boots at a great price. The rep says that they accept returns if they are clean so I ordered a pair last week and will post info on them when I get them. nwhunter

So far I am impressed with these boots. I wore them a little bit just to make sure they fit right then went on a pretty good hike with them so basically right out of the box. Hiked up to a mtn . lake about 2.5 miles on a rocky steep trail and then stood in the water for part of the day while i fished and then hiked out. Boots and feet were bone dry and never any discomfort or hotspots. While I could have done the hike with pronghorns out of the box I never would have stood in the water for very long without wet feet. The crispi's are defenitely a stiffer sole than I am used to which I assume is because of the higher quality design and why they will last multiple seasons. Great support and the heel area and toe area has nice padding around the foot that allows no slip for me anyways. So far I am sold on these boots. nwhunter
