Did anyone use hevi shot magnum blend this spring?

If so how did it pattern with 3 diffrent shot sizes?

Any input would help

Thanks

I have seen it do good to very good in a couple guns. I personally handload my own....at least tell I am out of supplies. I think a lot of people say the straights do or did better. i think the real reason for the blend was because of Nitro Companies success. I prefer straight 7's in turkey loads, of course all hevi shot is kind of a mix in sizes anyway.

Me and my buds shoot it a lot here in Mississippi. It is the cats meow!!!! Now it is coming out in 10 gauge. Can't wait to try the SP10 with it.

The magnum blend is amazing stuff. I set up a Mossberg 935 with a Primos Jellyhead tube for my Dad. Shooting the magnum blend, it throws an excellent pattern out to 60 yards. I think the farthest shot we have taken on a turkey was about 40, and it flattens them.

The old gun I use the most on turkeys loves Winchester #4s and I just don't want to change anything with it. However, I can tell you that for any new gun that comes my way, magnum blend will be the first thing I try.

Good luck.
