Got a pair and I would have to say that I am pleased. I nearly always carry my 7x35 Leitz or 8x42 Nikons, but you just never know when you will need more power and I can't justify carrying two pair. I do have a 10X pair, but they generally stay in the truck because they are just not practical 95% of the time.

Fast forward: Just purchased the Leupold Switch 7-12 X 32. Of course I received them in broad daylight and they looked good then. However the real test is twilight. So right at the time of last shooting light I stepped out on my back porch to look through them. Low and behold, there was a deer at 150 yards in my neighbors pasture. The binocs had a clear image and good light tranmission at 7 power. Then switched to 12X. Definately a step down in light gathering (as you would expect from a 12X32 pair), but I was able to see antlers sprouting from his head (something that was not real obvious at 7 X). They are also a great size at 21.5 oz. Not too big and not too small.

So, I have yet to use them on a hunt, but I think they will do very nicely!

Best news: Cabelas has them on clearance. MSRP: $950. Clearance price: $540. Even a web searched did not turn up anyone who came close to touching that price.

I will second the above I really like mine! So much that my 10x42 Gold Ring HD's will stay home this year. Great buy for any in the market!
