just recently picked up a nova and i am very excited about it! not to familiar with the different chokes and what to us them for. just curious as to what you fellow mm's use?

Full, Mod,Impoved,
I like the Improved for Pheasants, Full for Quail and dove
Have never put in the Mod.

"I have found if you go the extra mile it's Never crowded".

I picked up a nova a few months ago and have only used the mod. I love everything about the gun. Cant wait till dove season starts up. Good luck.

I bought the turkey choke for a Super Vinci I got this year. It was devastating on the birds.

Depends on a number of things. What kind of birds are you going after? What type of shot will you be using? What distances are you planning on shooting? For average upland bird hunting at 30 yards or so Mod or Imp is just find. Make sure if you are shooting steel shot that your choke is approved for steel. If you are shooting farther than 30 yards or using them for turkeys, snow geese or any waterfowl you may want to look into aftermarket chokes ie: Wad Wizard, Patternmaster, Kicks.

You should really pattern some loads at distances you want to shoot and see how YOUR gun likes different loads.
