I picked up a Zebra light SC50+ from High Mountain Outfitters for hunting this year. Put in on my wild land helmet, and used it on an overnight fire to test it out. I am very pleased with the light it puts out (193Lm). Especially coming from a flashlight not much bigger than a AA battery. The flashlight has 6 setting, the 0.7Lm is probably worthless, but the rest of the settings will be useful. I expect to use it the most at medium beam, unless I am searching for blood. I have always been of the opinion that you must plan for worst case scenario's, never want for more. I'm excited to try it out again on a 4 day scouting trip coming up in early August. I should mention that it comes with a headband, so it can be used as a side mounted headlamp.
