What is a good Boot For AZ Hunting?

I have two pairs of Danner boots that work well for me when I'm in Wyoming hunting but here in the desert of AZ my feet get too hot and they sweat. I'm looking for a boot that doesn't have Goretex or waterproofing. I was looking at an 8" Converse desert color (Military) boot. Any suggestions out there for this blasted AZ heat?

I have a pair of uninsulated Kenetrek's that I think are either 6" or 8" and love them. Great for all types of hunting until it gets cold and you are sitting more than walking.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-29-11 AT 08:49PM (MST)[p]Picked up a pair of Columbia Pole Creek Omni Tech waterproof/breathable hiking shoes a month ago on sale. They are very comfortable and have treated me great on several hikes.

Go to the columbia website and click on outlet...then men's footwear. Great price and hopefully they have your size.
