K&K tripod and pistol grip

Has anyone used this setup that can say whether they are any good or not. I think Sprtsman WH sells them. Obviously not an outdoorsman setup but at half the price I wonder if its any good. I swore I wouldnt go on another hunt with my tripod setup ,back and forth up and down and none of it smooth! I have used an outdoorsman with the pistol head and loved it except the weight and price but my swarovski on a cheap tripod is kind of a waste too. Tks nwhunter

I have used that same set up. The tripod is very good, but I didn't like the pistol grip. It was very unstable with a Swarvoski 20X60X80. Sold the head and replaced it with a Bogen pan head. It's better but a little heavier. Still looking for a light weight head.

I currently use one. Solid tripod and I don't mind the pistol head. Handles my sts 65 well. If you can get it half-off I'd jump on it.
