So.......I was ready to buy a new Swaro spotter this year.
I have had Swaro binos for a few years and they CANNOT be touched by the competition.....in my opinion.
A Swaro 80mm spotter with lens is a TON of money for an old retired guy.
After extensive research, I was advised to try the Vortex Razor. Side by side, with a borrowed Swaro,....not an HD, I was blown away! The clarity and edge definition on the Razor exceeds the Swaro by a much noticeable difference.
Doug at Cameraland has a GREAT deal going on, so I stepped up and bought the Razor.
I have spent 2 days in the field, putting this glass thru the ringer and, so far, I am WAY happy.
Over the years, I have owned, borrowed and looked thru, just about every spotter on the market and I will put the Razor up against anything out there.
"I could eat a bowl of Alphabet Soup and
sh!t a better argument than that!"
