Is this scope a good idea. I dont have alot of money to spend so i would like to get the most bang for my buck. I would use it primarily for long distance wildlife viewing. Anybody ever own or use one? Thanks for any input.

I just ordered one of these for my sister in law. She is giving it to my bro for his b-day so I will know if a couple weeks. From what I have seen it uses the same eye piece as my Vortex Nomad 20-60x80. They should be a pretty good low cost scope. Redfield has the same customer service as Leupold so no worries about any warranty issues either.

I did a little research a few years ago when I bought a rifle scope. From everything I could find the Redfield Rifle scopes are, (or at least they were in 2010) made in the US, Washington State I think and all the other optics were being made in China. I did buy the Redfield rifle scope and love it. I think my uncle has the scope, or a pair of binos-not sure which, but I have not heard him complain.
