Anybody have any experience with Western Mountianeering's Badger sleeping bag? I just picked one up for a short hunt with my son on Wednesday/Thursday. It's his first over night hunt in Oct, and I wanted to make sure he stays warm. We are packing up on the mountain and staying there in the tent. Under the circumstances, I hope it doesn't snow...

No experience with the Badger but I have the Kodiak and it's a great bag. It's rated for Zero degrees and it good to at least Zero. You can't go wrong with Western Mountaineering.

Have to report that Western Mountianeering makes great sleeping bags. I picked up the Badger because of the extra room in the shoulder area. I was initially concerned that the extra room would lead to increased heat loss. That wasn't the case. I slept like a baby on a very cold night. Not sure the exact temp, but she was easily in the low 20's. The extra room equated to better sleep because I didn't have to fight the bag to move positions. The bag is pretty basic, with no fancy features, just light weight, welled designed, and very good components that go in to making up the bag. I am very happy with the purchase.
