Anyone use them before? How do they do for hiking elevation?

So I got a pair of these boots. So far I am extremely happy with them. It seems they are high enough to completely eliminate using my gators to keep the dew from getting my pants wet. They fit really comfortably and with a merino wool sock, my feet stay really warm.

If anyone is interested in trying these boots, I would recommend them for everything except steep high country stuff.
