Nikon M-223 BDC reticle scope

I have a flattop AR15 rifle my brother built up for me and I'm thinking of topping it off w/ a Nikon M-223 BDC reticle scope 4-16x42mm. Any pros or cons on the BDC reticle or would you opt for the NikoPlex duplex reticle with adjustable turrets. My primary use for this rifle will be 75% prairie dog culling and 25% coyote shooting...
I've been reading a few reviews on other various websites and just want to make the best decision possible when dropping some hard earned cash.

For me, the BDC was too busy and the little circles cover a lot of game at distance.
