Well I stopped by REI this morning to see which GPS's they had in stock as I wanted to check out the Oregon 450T but they did not have one, just the Oregon 600.
The store guy brought it out of the display case and fired it up. I touched the screen and it came "alive".
He talked to me about it and showed me a few easy steps and IF I HAD ANY PROBLEMS, come back to the store and someone would help me out. So I bought!
Came home and took the chip I bought 2 years ago with onXmaps out of the smaller GPS I had and installed it and then uploaded the revised upgraded WYO to it with help from OnXmaps and it is all loaded and ready to use.
Took a little time to figure it out but got it and what a change from the old way of buttons, toggle button and other buttons.
Sort acts like a smart phone with the ease of +/- on side of screen.
Will be hunting close to Wilderness and some private this late Oct. so hope it keeps us out of trouble...LOL
