Well...I did not draw my archery Elk tag...because I put my name in the hat for some far out deer tag that I thought was impossible to draw:
SUCCESSFUL: Premium LE Rifle Buck Deer

Hunt: Paunsaugunt Weapon: Any Legal Weapon Your season date(s): Oct 17 - 25, 2015

I might need some tips for the once in lifetime chance for me.

We drew this tag this year. We are excited but have not hunted this unit or part of the state before. Would you PM me with info and your results of what you found last year? Thanks in advance for your help.

Well Bill_ in_MI,
I drew the muzzleloader tag and I'll be there before you but I'm not sure that any shared info would be of value to you because of the radically migratory nature of those deer.

Because of the later dates of my hunt, the deer might be in a different pattern than previous years so I might need to dig even harder to turn one up that trips my trigger.

Hey Big John, I drew the tag 2 years in a row....but I needed to turn the tag in last year because of sheep hunt conflicts.

The second time around is even sweeter and I can give it full effort this year and I'll enjoy it whether I win, lose or draw. It's going to be good.
