I have a Southeast Early tag and I spoke to the CO over the San Juan area last week. He said that in his area, they were just getting ready to feed the birds when the weather suddenly warmed up and the snow started to melt. According to his observation, the birds came through just fine. The Southeast snow totals were as high as anywhere in the state, so if he is right, all the birds should have made it through pretty well. At least that is my hope!
