Tick Warning !!!

LAST EDITED ON May-04-16 AT 02:53PM (MST)[p]I was out in Tooele County Turkey hunting and come home early because the ticks were everywhere. When I got back to my truck after sitting by a spring enjoying the afternoon sun I felt something on the back of my neck it was two #%^!* ticks crawling around. I looked at my game vest and it had some crawling on that plus a few on my pants as well and on my day pack. to say the least I freaked out. I started to pull clothes off right there and shake them out. when I got down to my underwear I had one on them too off they came. After I shook everything out real good I said hell with this no birds and lots of ticks I am out of here. I went back to camp to pack up and found one on and one in my tent. I just threw everything in my truck in a big mess. When I was ready to leave I looked out my windshield and I had one right in the middle of it. When I got home I peeled everything off at the door and left them outside for the night and jumped in the shower I didn't find any on me thank god. all I took out of my truck was my gun. I am just now getting around to unpacking I am going to leave it all outside for awhile. I have a routine Dr.Appointment tomorrow and yes he will be doing a tick check. I hate $^&$#@ Ticks !!! Beware this is the worst year I have ever seen for Ticks!!

Two words for you son..............

SAWYER PERMETHRIN

Doesn't repel ticks, it kills them.
Its not insect spray and should not be used like one.

Read the directions, apply properly.

No more ticks.

I used to get numerous ticks each year. Three years using this, not a single tick.

Boots, backpack, socks, pants, shirt.
Tents, whatever you want to be a tick free zone.

I second that spray! early season hiking in wy last year was bad. I hate ticks more than my boss! so I tried this spray out with my girls and haven't had a ticket one on us.

Damn where have I been I have never heard of that. Does WalMart Sell that stuff or do I have to go to a sporting goods store? Thank You! I am saved I might even go back out this spring if it works that good.

they won't ship to certain states! but I know you can order it online at Wal-Mart and have them ship to store or home.

It WORKS. Today is the first day in 3/4 years that I've had a tic on me. Came off a oak tree branch. Was crawling up my finger. Gawd, I've had so many tics embedded in me it's a wonder that I haven't had Lyme disease. Hmmmm...maybe thats why NeMont (too many tic bites on him) calls me a fake conservative because of the money I donated to certain certain conservative orgs and the fact that I'm a Trump supporter??????

As will I. Bear hunting in the Idaho Pan Handle, it rains ticks. Nearly enough to drive me crazy.......er!

You can order it from amazon in several types.
I don't use the aerosol version. I use the spray bottle type.
I also have seen it in the camping dept at walmart, and the camping dept at sportsmans whse.

I usually order it on amazon.

As I said before, read the instructions. Do not spray it on you like bug spray.

Best stuff ever made for ticks. I will NOT go out in the woods without it. I buy several bottles each year and wash my clothes in a 5 gallon bucket with the Sawyers. Its good for like 45 days. Awesome stuff.
