Going with my pop on the paunsaugunt management hunt this year at 72 he was ready to get out of the points game, he's all most done hunting and this should be a fun week or two of camping.
 
72 is only 10 years away for me and I cannot see it being the end of my hunting career.... barring health issues.
Good luck to your pop. I'll be down there the season before your dad so I'll share management info with you.
