Nebo Muzzleloader Elk

My dad drew a Nebo Muzzleloader elk tag this year. We have spent a lot of time up there so far and have seen lots of elk, some promising bulls. Have any of you hunted this unit during the rut? I want to know if there are specific canyons that holds more elk than others? I don't need your honey holes just a nice point in the right direction. I appreciate your help!

the nebo is just like any other units, some spots hold more animals than others. that said, if you do your scouting, youll do great and have an awesome hunt. the quality is coming back, but its been a slow process. i had the muzzy tag several years ago. it was a great hunt. cant wait to do it again. im not gonna say any spots in particular, since i dont like competition

but i will say, id avoid the payson canyon area all together. dont even waste your time. its a great unit, make the most of it and have an awesome hunt!
