Hey Everyone,
An older fellow that my Fiance works with drew a Vernon Rifle tag this year. Somehow I get elected every year to help people out of their hunts and sacrifce my hunts for the year.
I love it though. Its what its about.
Anyways I haven't spent any time in the unit, but I need to start getting out and kicking the brush....learning the unit a little.
He's a good dude and he deserves a good buck. I am going to do what I can to help him acheive this.
Does anyone have any info about where to concentrate my efforts? Which end of the unit? Not looking for your secrets, just looking for some info so I don't spend my limited amount of days scouting in vain.
Also any info about what the deer out there do between no and the rifle hunt. Do they typically have a home range that they stay in or are they wanderers?
