Skyline fire ?

Coming home from work today it looks like a huge fire up on the skyline? any info, nothing on the fire sites as of 5pm. To much smoke to pinpoint from here looks like might be near mammoth res.???

LAST EDITED ON Sep-09-16 AT 07:31PM (MST)[p]The fire is burning in Shoo-Fly canyon towards Black canyon. I was up there today and watched for a while. the trees pretty much expolded as the flame got near them. Didn't see any fire people.

They're taking the "let it burn and see what kind of trouble we can create". LOL

In the long run it will improve deer and elk habitat (pat answer) but it probably sucks if you've got a LE elk tag right and that was your honey hole!

I ain't never seen no elk in that canyon
Maybe up Springs City canyon or Candland mountain
But never in fly canyon.
Worst place in the state for a LE tag
