Wasatch muzzy elk tag help

Been doing a lot of elk scouting in the wasatch range. Mainly up by red creek road and jimmies basin. Basically anywhere north of currant creek. I've seen quite a bit of elk but no "herd" bulls. Some satellite bulls and spikes but nothing worth taking with my LE tag. Now I don't want anyone to tell me there honey holes or put me right on a 7x7 screaming bull but does anyone else have any other ideas about where to check out. Seems the archery and rifle hunters have pushed them around. The hunt is only a few days away and my scouting isn't paying off. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I was up there Saturday the 24th, trying to pull trail cameras for the muzzleloader hunt.
If you are planning on being above 9000 ft, be ready for this.

Measuring with my poles, there was 14 inches on the ground, and the drifts were up to my hips.

Also be ready for lots of downed trees.
Take a chain saw.
We had about 30 downed trees on the road into that spot.
Too many leaves still on the trees, plus 14 inches of wet, heavy snow, made a lot of trees hit the ground.

I don't know that all that snow will melt in just a couple days, it might. But, I would be prepared for everything.

I would not be surprised to see lots and lots of animals piled up at the bottom of the snow line for the first day of the hunt.
