East Canyon-Summit Antlerless Elk

I drew out for the East Canyon-Summit Antlerless Elk. This will be my first time hunting and I made the rookie mistake of not studying the areas I put in for very hard. I didn't realize until I drew out that basically the entire area is private property. It looks like there is a single canyon that is state property. Is this really the only area to hunt? Any thoughts? Is there even a chance that any hang out in that canyon? Is it even accessible in the winter? Thanks for any advice.

Pray for snow, or pay for a trespass permit. Also get a mountain bike that canyon closes to regular traffic part way through your hunt and its a long walk in. I hunted this unit years ago, got a elk but man it was tuff hunted a lot. PM me for more info
