Is the oak creek the next Henrys or pauns???

Just wondering what everyone thinks about the oak creek? I've seen probably 6 200"+ bucks come off there this year which is usually unheard of usually they might pull 1-2 200" type bucks off the unit per year. Is the oak creek going to be a top 3 unit in the state?

I highly doubt it. With that unit, it's either gold mine or bust. For every 200" deer killed on that unit, there's 5 tags that either go unfilled or get cut on a piss head. There's many GS units that have better quality than that LE unit

I totally agree with you I just wanted to hopefully turn a bunch of people away from the henrys and pauns lol

I spend a lot of time out there. A lot of those big bucks are guided and killed by locals/hunters with a good knowledge of the unit. It's a very rough and tough unit to hunt, and finding big bucks is not very easy out there. So I think that yes, there may be the same caliber of deer, but not even close to the numbers of deer as any of the other LE units.
