Boulder west cow elk?

Howdy All,

My brother and I are headed down tonight to poke around Boulder West to try and find a couple cow elk. If anyone has seen any hanging out, feel free to give me a shout!

Hopefully we'll have a good report by weeks end.

Good luck was just there for the opening two days with friends and they took a cow and missed another.

Took us a while to locate them. Lots of antelope hunters out too.

Man, the cows were hiding from us this last weekend. Spent a few days poking around the unit and turned up nothing but bulls!
Went down by tropic, but no snow down there yet. Tried to get up on Griffin top, but the snow drifts were too deep, poked around antimony Creek and parker mountain, but the sign was light with a few bull elk spotted.
We may try the east side of the unit next time. Stay tuned!

We are going out again this week. If anyone has a bead on some cows that you'd like to share, I wouldn't tell ya no!

A couple weeks ago there were a lot on the Fishlake side of the highway. If the snow got deep enough and the pressure hasn't been to hard, they may be on the Parker mountain side.
