Non Resident question

I will start applying for LE elk next year as a non resident, what I wanted to know what is the average bonus points a non resident should have to realistically have a chance to draw a LE tag? Keep in mind I would be happy with just about any LE unit

This will get you started just doing a quick run down for some of the archery tags you have like a 50/50 shot if you put in with 0 points, obviously these are not very desired tags though.

Here is another odds link. I like how they show the odds:

http://www.toprut.com/

Our odds went to crap when they allowed us to apply for more than one species tag. It would be a lot better if they allowed everyone to apply for as many points as they want, but only one tag. Our odds would double or sometimes triple overnight for the tag that we really want the most. Not sure why they don't do that for residents.

However, even though we can APPLY for more than one tag, we can only draw ONE. If we draw one, we are out of the draw for the rest of the hunts we put in for. So in reality, we lose big time in the odds of drawing, but are really only putting in for one license.

I have 18 bonus points and expect to be in the bonus point pool. Problem is there are 7 others with as many points going for one bonus tag. Unless someone with 19 points switch units and snatches the tag like last year.
