Mt Dutton its official !

Just got the email.Drew a Dutton late bull tag! A first Utah big game tag after 18 years! Time to start the planning and research. I would be lying if I said I wasn't a bit intimidated with Mt Dutton's very challenging reputation.But I'm ready to give it my all ! Any insight on this hunt ? I'm all ears. Good luck to everyone !

LAST EDITED ON May-23-17 AT 10:02PM (MST)[p]Had the muzzy tag in 2010 and have a buddy (sniper1) that has helped many people on that late hunt. Fun unit but no doubt it can be very physical without horses. Don't have to worry about rattlers so much with the late tag haha. Good luck, will be fun!!

I'd turn your tag back, there's no good bulls on that unit ?.

I had the tag in 2014 and had the hunt of a lifetime! My advice is get your ass in shape, and try and extend your comfortable shooting range if possible. You'll see lots of bulls, and there is always a chance for a real smoker down there.

i think bess killed more on that mountain than anyone. heck we had a sherrif sitting in camp, bess walks up and pulls out his 357 long barrel revolver and wastes a rattle snake slithering across the road. im pretty sure bess made it clear he hates rattle snakes
