Hey guys here's the deal somebody had turned in their 2017 Wasatch limited entry muzzleloader tag I was the next in line of course I accepted the tag but I'm now in a crunch obviously not having the tag I have not done any scouting Any help would be greatly appreciated

If you're sitting on a pile of points then do whatever feel right. If you're 5-10-15 years from drawing a tag then take the tag and go kill a fine trophy bull. It's that simple.

Try up by strawberry reservoir or current creek or American fork canyon

A couple questions:

1- How many points did you have?

2- Are you familiar with any of the unit at all?

Nevermind

He actually turned it back in because i got lucky and drew the muzzy book cliffs hunt and so he said he'd rather wait another year and go down to the book cliffs this year and check it out

Where are you familiar with on the unit? Feel free to PM if you'd like, but I ask because the Wasatch is huge, and knowing where you're familiar is going to help narrow it down.

Either way, I'd start spending every bit of free time you have up there from here on out so you can identify where you want to hunt.

So he waited till right now to turn it in?
