"Deseret doe pronghorn"

My wife and I drew deseret. We will be hunting Oct 12-14th. We will be taking our 3 young children with us ages 8,5,and 18 months. We thought this permit would be a very good opportunity to expose them a little more in depth to what we love to do! They have always been around after the hunt for meat and trophy preservation. But never on a hunting trip. These kids spend lots of time scouting and camping. I guess my biggest question is, is it worth pulling my trailer up to deseret and camping there or should I just get a motel room in Evanston? From what I understand there is no shortage of antelope up there and I don't want to haul my trailer for nothing. DLL will not let you camp the night before the hunt either. I have never hunted there before and just wanted an idea of others opinions.thanks!

Chances are you won't need the hotel even. I had a buck pronghorn tag on the ranch last year. Had a great hunt and saw plenty of doe pronghorns that offered a shot. You will likely tip two of them over in the same day.

You could just do a hotel as a walk in if needed. Should be plenty of vacancies this time of year. No need to reserve the hotel in advance.
