Looking into gathering more information of deer hunting the beaver unit. From what I gather I think it is a unit I will enjoy hunting.

My question for those who have hunted it is which season seems the best. They are are roughly the same point requirement within a point or two. So would you suggest Bow, Muzz or rifle. I have two points right now so I could do muzz or bow next year.

Also for me the best time for me to get scouting time is July and August since I have the summers off. Not sure how much the deer move from month to month in the unit. Willing to take a couple scouting trips to get everything figured out
