New hunts coming?

Im not from the state so i dont follow the news.

Are they creating any new deer hunts-areas this year? If anything else it will give more options. Im looking at late muzzy hunts.

Im sure someone will correct me by pointing out there are no new areas, but late hunts in general areas. Ok. Same thing to me as it is an area with limited dudes and better dates...

My cousin called me the other day and told me of an new deal where an resident can pay $150.00 for their tag for deer and hunt all of the seasons including the late season.

Not too sure of this as I didn't read it myself but if it is it seems that this will put even more pressure on an already challenged herd

Unless there is a plan that hasn't been released yet, the only way to hunt all seasons is a premium limited entry tag and these are very limited in numbers. They did add limited entry late muzzleloader tags on a few general season deer units. However, you are not able to hunt all seasons with this tag. I bet hes talking about the new elk plan for general season elk tags where you can hunt archery, muzzy and rifle for $150.

There will be a Permit that lets you Hunt all 3 Seasons on the General Elk Hunts!

I've Heard 150.00 from a few people but the price is just Rumor!

I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that price is confirmed. So add one more to the rumor ;-)
