LE Archery Elk dates?

Does anybody know the dates for the LE Archery elk hunt this year?
Have enough points to draw wanting to make sure the dates are going to be in my favor(I know in Utah it's not exactly ideal). Thanks for any help!

Aug 18 - sept 14 is gen archery this year.

When you apply should say dates for the hunt when you select it.

If I where you I would wait till 2020 to put in for it this will give you a better chance and be more in the rut it will end on the 18 of September

These dates would be better if the season opened a week earlier!

Elkslayer2015, are you absolutely sure about this? I think its the 2021 season and it ends on the 17th.

LAST EDITED ON Feb-20-18 AT 10:18AM (MST)[p] 3 blade it seem to always moves forward when my birthday leap year is thrown in the mix but I could be wrong but ive been looking at it for the past 8 years they have to adjust the calendar for the extra day and that's when it is every year. so like 2 years ago it landed on the 16 and that's when leap year was and the year before that it ended on the 11 of September

Bwht4x4 I wish it would start at the first of September and end on the 20 of September every year just make it a set date just my thoughts.

The dates are perfect if you want to hunt a big bull and pattern him. The more you get into the rut the more the bulls become random and killing s giant becomes more about luck. I'd take Utah?s dates all day long for archery....spend some time scouting and find the bull you want to shoot.

My thoughts about the earlier dates would allow you to scout out a big bull and kill him over water. The current season dates allow a shorter time frame before they move for the rut. If it was a week earlier you'd get 2 to 2.5 weeks before they move.
