Hey I have younger kids and im looking to teach them that there more ways to have fun than video games, etc.

I have 4 of the Duke dog proof raccoon traps and am looking for a place in southern Utah county that has coons.

I want to be able to check them every day.

Let me help you get rid of these destructive critters.

Thanks.

Stuart.

Come on down here where the weather is nice. I have a Raccoon problem. They killed all of my chickens. I have tried all kinds of traps. Just tired of catching all of the neighbors cats. The dog proof trap has only caught one.

BigJohnt,

What are you using for bait in your traps? If you use a chicken egg you will catch less cats and more raccoons. I trap a ton of raccoons with eggs and stay away from other baits like tuna.

When my son was in high school he trapped the $hit out of coons with peanut butter and jelly on a slice of bread. No ditch tigers but a few skunks. Have fun getting them out of your trap.

There are tons of coons all around the lake.

Go to trapperman dot com.
If you search around on that site you will find all the info you need to keep cats and skunks out of your traps.

Once you figure it out it will be easy, with even just 4 traps, to average at least a coon per day. It wont be long till you are sick to death of fleshing the furs. Coon suck to scrape/flesh. I assume you are keeping/selling the pelts? If so you will need a fleshing beam and draw knife as well as stretchers.

I have trapped most of my life. If you need more help message me and I would be willing to show you some sets to make that work well for me.

Have fun with your kids.

I have been using Big Stinky coon bait. I had a coon reach threw my kennel and tare up a bag with dog food in it last night. I guess I am going to have to set up a few more traps. Worried to live the new puppy out at night in his kennel. http://www.monstermuleys.info/photos/user_photos_2018/50027763372759586428f9f7fcc73e202f7eb.jpeg
