What is the age of my bull?

My dad harvested a bull elk last year, and we submitted teeth. I was just wondering how and when you can find out what the age of his bull was?

Go to wildlife.utah.gov and click on draw history. Then go to My Harvest Survey. At the bottom of your letter it will say your bulls age. Don?t be surprised if it says tooth data unavailable. It takes them for ever to get them done. I keep checking back to see how old my Bison was. Over a year now still nothing.

And you may never get results... My moose was never updated and I even called them and they couldn't get me that information...

Or they can tell you that your buck is 3 years old when he is more like 8-9 years old.

It's not a huge deal. They only set tag numbers on those results...

Thanks for the info on how to check the age of my dad's bull. They aged it at 9 years old.

My Nebo bull from 2015, which it said I didn't give a tooth for was 6? How do they know?

You gotta question how they are getting their age info.
I just checked my 2014 desert sheep from the Harvest data and despite him having 12 clear age rings (and none are false rings) my data says he was 7.

If he was 7 then he has the fastest growing 172" Utah desert sheep ever born.

Meh...what's the big deal if they are totally wrong? They only set all wildlife policy and tag numbers based off age classification data that they generate from these numbers.
