Indian Artifact??? How old???

Was out shed hunting and came across this hanging on a little tree limb. What do you all make of it. While walking along I looked up and saw a bigger piece of red cloth hanging in a tree and then I saw this hanging there. It looks like some sort of Indian artifact, but don't know what it could be. There is some beads that look like bone and are painted on as well as some kind of thing that reminds me of a dreamcatcher made out of grass wrapped around something in a circle as well as a pouch of something wrapped up and tied to it. What do you all think it might be. How old do you think it is?

Cant be too old, that fabric would be long gone.

Hard to say how old but doesn't look hundreds of years old. Maybe 50-70. If cloth is wool and not cotton then they it may be older.
If it is native American artifact then you might want to check laws on possession. Not sure what state you found it in but here in Az they have strict laws governing artifacts found on public land.

Maybe a Indian Medicine man put it there to make the Hunting Gods Happy. So by removing it you might of just screwed up your success rate. Just saying.

Travis? Are you serious? 1700's, is the answer to your question. They traded with Spanish explorers, fur trappers, and others.
