Considering I'm dedicated and my wife drew deer last year and we put in for super hard to draw elk and oil tags I've lost all hope for a hit. I'm coming to terms with it.

That's what I did, 24 years ago. I will be hunting the early rifle in Pine Valley this year. I haven't hunted the rifle hunt in ages. I usually hunt the muzzy. My four kids that are old enough to hunt all drew youth rifle tags. My triplets are excited because it is their first deer tags.

All over but the crying. I thought with 14-15 points Non Res I was a shoe in for the mt. Dutton archery elk tag. Unless I did not understand the odds right, which is very possible.

Just as well, I have a NM archery elk that that overlaps the dates.

Yes I have. Opened my email and was unsuccessful with 25 points total for LE Bookcliffs Muzzy ( my self and my cousin ).
I wonder how long this is going to take.

Depends on card- Cabela VISA is always slow in listing charges. Got the email this morning but yesterday card billing only listed to May 8.

Looks like my father-in-law did not draw Book Cliffs archery deer with 9 points (resident). I really thought he was a lock to draw.

Anybody draw that tag? How many points?

Pretty sad when it takes double digit points to draw a lesser LE archery deer tag!!

Only 1 charge so far on the cc. Wifes antelope. No email yet so hoping i got lucky an drew a LE archery Nebo tag with 0 points. And maybe a general deer. But i always expect the Unsuccessful email. So we'll see

My dads email came in last night at 11 pm. We haven't had any other emails since. Of course he drew his deer tag . He is a lifetimer like me. Hoping he might draw one more elk tag in his life time. But he got a un. Maybe they took the weekend off. My daughter and myself have seen no credit card hits and no emails yet. Hopefully my daughter draws a tag. She has only drawn one deer tag so far in her life.

Tough pill to swallow drawing one general deer tag in four years, I suppose I need to broaden my deer hunting horizons. It's going to be a rough fall.
