Well, much to my surprise 9 bonus points didn't cash in a tag for a resident. just curious if anyone else has some insight as to the amount of points that it took to secure a tag?

Looks like 3 out of 4 drew with 11 points and the guy with 12 points was guaranteed a tag. I'm surprised it takes that many to draw. Those cactus bucks are strange, and all the ones I've seen have been fairly small. I do like the idea of this hunt though, because most people aren't going to shoot a cactus buck with a regular buck tag in hand.

Wish I still the picture of a Cactus Buck I saw there in 99'..
One side was about 100" and other was a club..size of a Basket Ball..
The ugliest Buck I ever saw..
