Youth Any Bull General Season

I received my daughter's results (still waiting on mine...) and she was successful in drawing a general season youth any bull elk tag. Of all the research I have done in preparing myself to one day see a "successful" for an LE tag, I'm starting fresh on researching information for the general tag. I'll certainly do my research, call biologists and talk to as many people as I can to learn as much as I can to help her but thought I would throw it out here and see if anybody is willing to help out with information. She is 14 and we live in Idaho. A scouting trip or two is definitely going to happen. If anybody is willing to help out it would be greatly appreciated and I would also be willing to help out with information about Idaho hunts where I can if you ever needed. Thanks in advance and hope at least a few of you are getting to see a few "successful" results on your end.

Although i do not know much about the areas. I know you can only hunt the general elk units. No LE units. So like the Uintas, west desert east, i know there is a general unit up by Bear Lake.

Search for general any bull hunts. There is alot of info already on these youth hunts. But there will be poeple replying to this thread i bet.

Although one of these days I'll have enough money to head to the Uintas. I hunt the West Desert East unit for the last 5 years I've been in Utah. Let's just say it's turned into a camping trip with adult beverages.

I know these general units are tough. Here poeple say it year in and year out. I'd be after a more successful hunt then a trophy hunt. I'd say go to the Uinta mtns have a good time give her hell and hopes your daughter finds a bull she loves and smokes it! Goodluck

I am willing to give some info. Possibly help given if my general season muzzy Hunt doesn't conflict. I helped a family member (youth) take one last year.
