Fillmore deer unit

I have a gen season muzzy deer tag sept26-oct4 season tag. I've never been there so I was wondering is there anywhere to stay close by? I'm driving all the way from Louisiana cause this is only tag I drew this year. I'm not a trophy hunter but was wondering if deer numbers are high enough to keep the hunt interesting? If anyone has hunted this area I would like to chat. I can trade info, I have hunted New Mexico, ciolorado,Wyoming extensively for twenty years but never utah. Thanks. Preston gray

Hello HNTNFSH, just wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing some of the same information about the late deer rifle Fillmore unit . I have hunted the Beaver and Panguitch units in past years but never Fillmore. Any information would be greatly appreciated especially for the fact that my son will be on this hunt and would really like him to have a good hunt . His first out of state hunt.
