Rob Bishop to give up power

You Utahns just need to become a politically blue state and all your public lands lost dilemmas will be over.

>You Utahns just need to become
>a politically blue state and

>dilemmas will be over.

You're not wrong. In fairness though, every other state, even ultra-conservative Wyoming, voted Legislatively not to pursue a land grab when they ran the numbers. Utah is just the only state stupid enough to not figure it out.

Reality is the dems are only better because the repubs are that bad.

The honest to head truth is I can't figure out why.

I know there are a few who will profit, I know there is an anti fed sentiment, but why the public hasn't slapped this down I just can't put a finger on.

Obedience?

Not engaged?

I don't think folks here are dumb.

Its perplexing that most of the state can look out its windows and see public land, yet aren't againstlettibg it go, its in plain view daily.

Wish I had the answer, have to spend less time on the phone, less time pounding my head against the wall.

Do what you're told.
Don't ask questions.
Keep your mouth shut.
Follow along with the rest of the sheep.

Or most people don't think there's much of an issue. Most of this loosing public land scare tactics is a whole lot of hyperbole.

I would say so, that school trust land has always been an option to sale and you know that. Trust lands have been sold for several decades now. Now big surprise to me to see it up for sale. It would be awesome if the DNR could get it.

The same folks in charge of 60% of Utah wouldn't be hyperbole.

Remember, the states can't run negative budgets. $110million to fight fires in Utah. The land would be gone in less than a year.

I ahree, hopefully it stays public.

Only thing Rob Bishop has going for him is he looks like Lt. Frank Drebin from Naked Gun. I'd write in Frank if I could vote again.

Hey Hoss as long as you're throwing around numbers remind us what the surplus was this year.

$110 was just fire. Don't forget management, maintenance.

Last I heard the state was in the bottom 5 in education spending?

Qqurstion is, if Utah has a $158 million surplus, why is it selling land?
