What unit would y'all apply for with a solid chance to get drawn for a rifle hunt. Also what outfitter would you use and why?

Manti unit hands down, go where the largest elk population is in the state is and you will find Elk.

I'd go late rifle in manti, talk to black timber outfitters, had a great hunt with them this year.

The Manti sucks. All the elk migrated to the fish lake.

Its shotty, weather sucks, little access.

Pm if you draw it we live on it all summer and fall.

Unless I pull it with 5 points, then sucks to be you!!

I also wouldn't discount the Wasatch late hunt. If you want to go guided, check in with Berryblaster here. There are quite a few private areas that protect bulls during the early hunts that they drift off of for the late hunts allowing for the potential for true giants. Even if that doesn't happen, there are some incredible hunting opportunities for great bulls and some incredibly fun hunting.
