With the new reports about the wasatch extended being expanded. And the addition of new extended regions in utah county as anyone heard where the boundaries are going to be? not just the south north but the east west. also if this includes elk as well.

Outside of the DWR article they haven't put out the maps yet. I'm hoping it helps spread the extended pressure a littl more.

There were maps published when they were working on the proposals, before it was approved by the board, but I haven't seen anything ?official? about it yet

I wish they would do 2 seperate hunts. If you want to hunt the regular season, put in and hunt the regular hunt. If you want to hunt the extended, put in and hunt the extended. Better quality hunts with less people out, less pressure on rutting bucks, more opportunity which the DWR would like. After all that's the excuse they always use for not trying to grow buck to doe ratios, as they are trying to balance opportunity and quality. Seems like a win all the way around to me.

The design of the extended Hunt is to keep the deer above the roads and houses. They want it crowded for that reason.

Not sure about exact boundaries, but the north east side will extend to American fork canyon, then pick up at AF canyon and run to north side of hobble creek.
West side of Utah lake and the Herriman area.
