i have a tag for this area and was wondering if anyone has hunted it for whitty's i would like to know some ranches to go or sections of private any help would be great.

I drew a whitetail only tag in Wyoming a few years back. When got there I stopped into a small town bar and asked the owner if he knew any one who would let me hunt on their ranch. He picked the phone up and called a rancher up and handed me the phone. The rancher let me hunt for $50 and another $50 if I shot a deer. In Colorado we did the same thing, except we stopped into a feed store. Any place a rancher does bussiness would be a great place to ask around. Good luck Scott

LAST EDITED ON Aug-18-08 AT 10:46AM (MST)[p]Depending on where you are coming from stop in Torrington at a place called Merchantile which is south of town. It is a farm and ranch store. Might have some luck there or the bars/coffee shops in Torrington. They might give you some assistance there. I live just inside NE from there. I'll try and think if I know any ranchers that want to get rid of some whiteys.

Hope this helps. Could try the tote-away bar and the bronco bar as well. There are feed stores in Douglas and Guernsey depending on your travel route.
