Log: great bucks. Where in KS and MO are you hunting? I just returned from MO and had a good time and spent 4 days in KS looking around during rut while I rehab my shoulder. I will hunt KS next year in Nov.

Unit 14. East central part of the state. KS is really the land of the giants.

We were hunting just North of you in Unit 8. We lease about 15,000 acres in unit 11 (Crawford County) for outfitting on. The largest buck we got in 08 off the lease was a 156" 10 point. We saw 2 bucks over 200" in 07, but none this year.

Are you planning on hunting there again in 09 ? Good luck in all of your drawings this spring.

As my daddy used to say " Lord willing and the creeks don't rise" I will have a KS buck tag in hand in 09. I don't want to use up all my luck drawing this tag though, I would love to get my LE elk tag in UT or AZ also.
